In testa nulla è cambiato: ilCity di Mancini ha liquidato la pratica Wolverhampton e si gode i 5 puni di vantaggio sui cugini allenati da Ferguson che a loro volta hanno vinto contro l’Everton. Passi avanti significativi in classifica anche per il Tottenham (3-1 al Qpr) e per il Liverpool (2-0 al Wba). In coda il Wigan perde col Fulham ed è sempre più ultimo. Penultimo posto occupato invece dal Bolton (sconfitto dallo Swansea) mentre la terzultma piazza è del Blackburn (3-3 col Norwich City).
